Animals as Intermediaries (AAI)® - AAI's mission is to support the human spirit by offering and building connections between people and the natural world.

Animaltherapy.net - This site describes the premise and promise of AAT and AAA, with a list of academic, organizational, printed and video resources. The site also features the links between animal abuse, child abuse, and domestic violence.

Critters & Company, Inc - This Minnesota-based company is a motivational, training, and development organization that uses live animals and story telling to increase the effectiveness of its presentations. Presentations include the subjects of relationships, harassment, team building, diversity and many spin-offs of focused on themes of respect and courtesy. Green Chimneys Children's Services - Green Chimneys' mission is to provide care and concern for all living things. The agency's main offices are situated on a 150-acre farm 60 miles north of New York City. On the main campus, children and adults are able to experience the therapeutic value of animals and plants. Over 380 animals can be found in the Farm and Wildlife Conservation Center. International Association of Human-Animal Interaction Organizations (IAHAIO) - Founded in 1990 to gather together national associations and related organizations interested in advancing the understanding and appreciation of the link between animals and humans. Latham Foundation - A clearinghouse for information about human issues and activities, the human companion animal bond, animal-assisted therapy, and the connections between child and animal abuse and other forms of violence. Minnesota Linking Youth, Nature & Critters (MN LYNC) - A nonprofit organization specializing in AAT. MN LYNC works primarily with dogs and horses as co-therapists. Their clients are primarily children and youth who have emotional and behavioral difficulties. http://www.mnlync.org

North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) - A membership organization which fosters safe, professional, ethical, and therapeutic equine activities through education, communication, standards, and research for people with and without disabilities. http://www.narha.org/

People, Animals, Nature (PAN) - PAN's vision is to enhance human health, family life, and education by advocating better integration of animals and natural settings into human experience. University Human-Animal Bond Centers

Anthrozoology Institute (AzI) - The AzI is based at the University of Southampton, England. Anthrozoology is a relatively new science which examines human-animal interactions. It adopts a multidisciplinary approach—incorporating Zoology, Veterinary Medicine, and Psychology. http://www.soton.ac.uk/~azi/azi.htm

Center for Animals and Public Policy at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine - The Center was founded in 1983 to coordinate and focus programs dealing with ethical, legal, scientific, and social issues relating to the status of animals in society. Each year, the Center sponsors workshops, seminars, and conferences, and publishes a newsletter on important issues related to animals and society. http://www.tufts.edu/vet/cfa/confsems.html

In recognition of the importance of these issues in 1995, Tufts University established the first graduate degree program in the United States in the field of human/animal relationships and related public policies. The Center acts as the administrative home of this unique program offering the Master of Science Degree in Animals and Public Policy. National Wildlife Health Center (NWHC) - A science center of the Biological Resources Division of the United States Geological Survey located in Madison, Wisconsin.
